BGSU Biology Lab Tour: Extreme Adaptations

Learn about the creative ways plants and animals adapt to their environments to survive - against predators and harsh environments - in this hour-long BGSU Biology Lab Tour: “Extreme Adaptations” production.

On Thursday, April 17 at 10 a.m., "Extreme Adaptations" was broadcast live on WBGU-PBS. Featuring Bowling Green State University faculty and students, this interactive tour takes you inside the BGSU greenhouse, herpetology and marine biology labs to learn about some amazing plants and animals.

Herpetologist Dr. Eileen Underwood, Horticulturist Joe Baker, Extreme Environments Biologist Dr. Erin McMullin, Marine Biologist Dr. Michael McKay and Biology Instructor Matt Partin are presenters.

For more information, or if you are interested in participating in the virtual tour or the companion study, please contact BGSU Biology Instructor Matt Partin at 419-372-2058 or partim@bgnet.bgsu.edu.
Each participating school must provide a contact teacher’s name and contact information.
