Hardin County Fair - Fair Tour 2006 September 8, 2006 |
|
Find out what makes Hardin County stick out from the rest of Ohio ... "it's the people!" as Ken Lafontaine (Hardin County Extension Educator) puts it. On our eleventh stop of the WBGU Fair Tour 2006 Cathy Pratt and Al Bowe (WBGU Chief Engineer) help us discover some of the people and the events to look forward to at the fair. Connie Oates (Hardin County Agricultural Society Secretary/Treasurer) gives an overview of what to look forward to, for the rest of the weekend. Gerald Potter (Hardin County Commissioner) speaks about the courthouse renovation and economic forecast for the county, and the fair queen (Amanda Cribley) and king (Allan High) let you in on what it takes to be royalty. Karl Dearwester shares his 114 year old family tradition and Ken Lafontaine educates everyone on what interests 12-1400 children that are currently involved in many of the events at the fair. Be sure to check it out for yourself and help support Hardin County and it's people. |
