On the last day of the Henry County fair Cathy Pratt and Kevin Cluts (WBGU Major Gifts Officer) found some time to round up some of Henry county's superstars and give us a quick description of this years fair. Featured speakers range from: Steve Roby (Henry County Fair board President), the fair king and queen, Lee Schroeder (Executive Director Community Improvement Corporation), Richard Bennett (Henry County Commissioner), and Laura Rohlf (Extension Educator). Throughout the interviews you'll learn what the highlights were for this years fair and all the work it takes to prepare for the years to come. Some of the events that make the Henry County Fair stand out are the "twist" to the Showmen to Showmen contest, the cookie bake off, and the Hamler Summer Fest exhibit. You'll also learn what drives children to participate in 4-H and FFA described by Josh Myers (9 yrs.) and Jenni Schink (12 yrs.). Be sure to check out the fair next year and enjoy the footage.
