Join us on our last stop of the Fair Tour 2006 series ... The Williams County Fair. Guided by Cyndi Horton (Williams County Fair Director) you'll see some exhibits and learn some interesting facts unique to this particular fair. For example some of the 4-H children raise Llamas to show, and you'll learn about the story behind the wooden-carved bear that welcomes all fair-goers. The carved bears are created by Bear Paw Creations and are auctioned off on Saturday - so be sure to check them out. Another unique trait about this fair is the covered bridge, constructed in 2004, that leads to the horseshoe tournaments and other fun events. In this video you'll get the stare down from goats, and preview some of the food ranging from turkey legs to ribbon fries. The weather is predicted to be nice so stop on by and check out the fair & the minature pony rides! |
