On November 1st at 8 pm, NW Ohio Journal presented an election special
featuring all of the Democratic and Republican candidates running to fill Ohio's 5th District congressional seat. Host Larry Weiss and guest journalists posed questions to the candidates during this live forum.
On November 29th at 8 pm, the follow-up NW Ohio Journal Election Special will feature a discussion of the issues facing the two winners of the primary elections. Larry Weiss, accompanied by three guests, will discuss the Ohio's 5th Congressional District candidates and the issues facing them in the U.S. Congress.
On December 11th a special election will determine who will represent Ohio's 5th Congressional District.
Viewer's are encouraged to submit "questions of interest" ahead of time on the NW Ohio Journal Discussion board, some of which may be selected for use during the broadcast.
