Wood County Safety Fair and Cruise In

Join the Wood County Museum, Safe Communities of Wood County and WBGU-PBS for the 3rd Annual Safety Fair & Cruise-In event.
This is a FREE community event where the public will be able to get an up close look at service vehicles, fire trucks, police cruisers, 1st responder vehicles, tractors, and construction equipment. There will also be a safety fair vendor tent, activities and bounce houses for kids, a car cruise-in (all cars welcome), plus so much more!
There will also be a quiet room located inside the museum.

Pemberville Fair Kids Zone With WBGU-PBS

Join us at the Kid Zone tent during the Pemberville Fair for non-stop fun, creativity, and to meet WBGU's Ruby the Red-Eyed Tree Frog.
Kids can enjoy hands-on crafts like making a Can Lid Frog or coloring a Giant Poster. The excitement continues with Giant Connect 4, a Kids Play Kitchen, Giant Plinko, and Face Painting. There's something for every young adventurer to explore.

Inspiring Young Gardeners Live Virtual Training for Early Childhood Educators

Early childhood educators are invited to Inspiring Young Gardeners: Cultivating Curiosity About Pollinators and Plants, a free live virtual training designed to spark a love of gardening and nature in young learners. This interactive session offers practical ideas for engaging children in planting, observing nature, and caring for gardens, while also exploring the essential role of pollinators in our ecosystem. Participants will receive ready-to-use resources, age-appropriate activities, a free gardening- or pollinator-themed children’s book, and two Ohio Approved/Step Up To Quality contact hours.
