Defining Quality with the Business Administration Scale

Attend this workshop to learn more about the Business Administration Scale and its use as a professional development tool. You will also have an opportunity to plan to improve policies and procedures in your early learning environment that reduce risk.

Recognizing Developmental Milestones Using the ASQ

Attend this workshop to learn how to use the Ages & Stages Questionnaire to identify at-risk children. Also, learn how to have successful meetings with parents that address the development needs of children.

Practical Applications of Safety Competencies

Attend this training to learn about Safety Competencies in Ohio's Core Knowledge and Competency document. You will also learn more about emergency preparedness, how to appropriately respond to bullying, demonstrate strategies to explain safety precautions to children and make a plan to correct potential safety hazards in your early childhood environment.

Choose one of the above Saturdays and register online at http://www.opdn.org.

All three workshops described above will be taught on the same day (for a total of 6 contact hours)
Participants will be given a break for lunch. Participants should either bring a packed lunch or may briefly go out to purchase a lunch.
