WBGU-TV Services at Bowling Green State University's mission is to provide programs and services that educate, enlighten and engage the people of the Northwest and West Central Ohio area. Public support for WBGU-PBS is essential. We depend on viewers to become members of the station and for businesses throughout the area to help us continue our mission through program underwriting. As you can see from the pie chart below, almost 70 percent of our income goes toward providing your favorite programming while the remaining amount is used to maintain the station's operations.
Public Broadcasting receives only 15% of its funding from the federal government. The rest of the funding is provided through foundations, corporations and most importantly individuals like you. WBGU-PBS appreciates your support and in return we strive to offer the best quality programming available along with educational workshops and local events.
