Cost and Billing:

There is no charge for events associated directly with a University offered credit class. To ensure a successful experience, we suggest at least one meeting with those faculty teaching in the videoconferencing facilities prior to the start of the class. Teaching in a Distance Learning environment is different than teaching in a face-to-face environment and we think it is essential to demonstrate these differences. Please refer to our "Tips for Teaching" section for additional assistance.

For all other videoconferencing events, the charges vary and will be described as the details of the event are presented. The charges associated with a videoconferencing event depend on the room used, equipment, type of connection, and staff required. Connections and cost are usually dependent on the type of equipment available at the remote site.
