The Blizzard of '78

I produced and directed this 60 minute documentary about one of the worst storms to ever hit northwest Ohio more than twenty years ago.

This documentary focuses on a three-day period, describing the storm hitting the area and all the immediate havoc it caused. It discusses how it affected people in northwest Ohio, most of whom were unprepared for the blizzard, what the snowbound did to survive the storm (some did not); and what people did to make the best of a bad situation. These are tragic, admirable, and humorous tales. The program follows the stories of selected residents through this unforgettable period. Archival footage, photos, and television news stories helps present the program visually.
