News Six
I produced, directed, and wrote this series of 10-minute programs for WBGU-PBS and NWOET.
The youngsters of a selected six grade schools research, write,
and report on stories of interest around their hometown. The class
then travels a couple of weeks later to the WBGU studios to put
the show together by introducing the stories and other features.
The class then views the final program at the end of the production.
News Six is a co-production of WBGU-PBS and the Northwest Ohio Educational Technology Foundation (NWOET).
Won the CEN Award in the ‘Children and Youth’ category for 2001, garnered a Friends of the University Libraries Award for 2001, and took a Crystal Award of Merit from the Toledo Chapter of Women in Communication in 2001.
