On April 10, 2026, WBGU-PBS Director of Education and Outreach Kelly Pheneger joined the Hancock County Early Childhood Education Workgroup to share the incredible (and free!) resources available through INFOhio.From Scholastic BookFlix and eBooks to social-emotional learning tools, local educators and advocates explored new ways to support early literacy. We even sent home some Wild Kratts and Daniel Tiger favorites for local families!

April 29, 2026 - Director of Education and Outreach, Kelly Pheneger, had the pleasure of visiting Mrs. Cathy Meyer’s Early Childhood Education class at Four County Career Center. It was an inspiring day spent with aspiring teachers exploring the latest educational resources!Kelly introduced the students to the vast, freely available tools within INFOhio’s PreK–12 Digital Library, including interactive eBooks and videos perfect for their future classrooms. During the session, students spent time finding high-quality lesson plan ideas and educational media to share with their preschool students; they also received physical books to add to their teaching toolkits.
